About Me
Education and Experience
After graduating cum laude from Dartmouth College, I obtained my medical degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of Rutgers University. I completed Psychiatry Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), serving as a Chief Resident in my final year. I then completed a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at MUSC. I am now double Board-Certified in both Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry, with additional training in Perinatal and Maternal Mental Health.
I work collaboratively with my patients to ensure they receive the best care possible. My thoughtful and personalized approach means I’m fully committed to the health and well-being of all of my patients. Read below to find out about services I provide.

My medical school and residency training prepared me to be an expert in Psychopharmacology. Not every medicine is the same. There are nuances to each medication that makes it work well in some people, and not well in others. I take an individualized approach to prescribing that makes sure that the medicine works for you, while also being aware of the interactions with your other medical conditions and prescriptions you take.

I have additional training in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions that affect women who are mothers, currently pregnant, or trying to become pregnant. As a mother myself, I am particularly passionate about helping women through this precious time of life.

I am Board Certified in Geriatric Psychiatry. I have vast experience in the diagnosis and management of mental health conditions in the aging population, such as depression, anxiety, loss of loved ones, and memory issues, among others.
